The Guild of the Cowry Catchers, Book 1

Guild of the Cowry Catchers

"The Guild of the Cowry Catchers, Book 1" has been one of the best reads out of the thousands of books I have read in the last few years.

The characters are real and have depth.  The storyline is engrossing and engaging.

I can tell when a book is good - and that is when every word is read and no pages are skipped (in boredom).  This was one such book.

Sometimes with books I have to re-read a sentence or a paragraph.  Mainly it is because the sentence/paragraph made no sense or the sentence structure was so poor, it defied understanding.  However with "The Guild of the Cowry Catchers, Book 1", I re-read many a sentence/paragraph multiple times because the meaning and or the confluence and juxtaposition of words were so .. DELICIOUS!

The illustrations in the book, in conjunction with the story, really added something wonderful and arresting to the whole enjoyable process.

Well done and thank you Abigail Hilton!
